The Medical Team that Saved My Life
My Husband and Son
On the night of my SCAD, my son looked me in the eyes and said, "Mom, you're having symptoms of a heart attack." My husband grabbed the keys and said, "Get, in the car." Those two actions saved my life.

Maine Medical Center
Every set of hands I passed through in the Emergency Department and cath lab at Maine Medical Center did everything right. SCAD was correctly and immediately identified and diagnosed and a correct call for surgery (for my case) was made.

My Cardiac Surgeon Reed Quinn, M.D.
I don't remember much about him other than a calm, confident, warm demeanor and I felt a sense of safety going into surgery. When he came in to see me in recovery he said, with a big smile, "We fixed you!"
